How To Search Keyword Statistics

If you are fairly new to internet marketing, you may be asking yourself; “why do I need to search keyword statistics?”. Well; this is why: Whether you are doing article marketing, affiliate marketing, building niche sites or blogs etc… the keywords you use in your campaigns will determine your success.

Let me explain; when I started out I used the basic keyword research, you know… went to google adwords external keyword tool, found keywords that had a fairly decent amount of search volume, then I went to google search to find out how many other websites were competing for the same keyword. This was not an easy task, I would spend literally hours; just to come up with a small few of usable keywords… or so I thought.

After much research, I learned how to search keyword statistics. I learned how to find the number of the true competing websites. Here I will show you how I use to search keyword statistcs.

To find the search keyword statistics for the true number of competing websites: type in the Google search bar the following: *note: not at the same time & take notes of the totals.

“your keyword here” (this will give you the #’s using the exact phrase match in the websites)

allintitle: “your keyword here” (this will give you the #’s using the exact phrase match in the titles of the websites actively targeting your keyword)

allinurl: “your keyword here” (this will give you the #’s using the exact phrase match in the urls of the websites actively targeting your keyword)

allinanchor: “your keyword here” (this will give you the #’s using the exact phrase match in the anchor text of the websites actively targeting your keyword)

Now that you have those totals, lets move on, to find out how many back links those websites have, along with their Page Rank (PR), age of website & how many pages they have indexed. You can download a tool to find out this information at SEOQuake.
